Greetings Camper,

We are excited for our upcoming week of YFI at Camp Allen. Our team of Directors and Counselors have been very busy over the past few months preparing to make this week the most awesome experience it can be. We are also inviting local churches to pray for all campers this summer, so please join them in prayer for your youth, other campers, camp counselors and directors.

We are going to have an awesome week of games, crafts, swimming, worshipping God, meeting new friends, hiking, leadership opportunities and much more. I hope you are getting as excited as we are. Our greatest hope is for all youth to experience the love and grace of God, to be comfortable to ask their faith questions, and to grow closer to God while making friends for life. We can’t wait to see you, but before you get here we wanted to pass on a few details to make things go a little smoother.

YFI Camp is June 29-July 3, beginning at 2 p.m. on June 29 and ending at 11 a.m. on July 3. Click here for directions to Camp Allen.

Please encourage you youth to try everything. They will have the most fun when they fully participate.

When your camper returns, please allow time for them to share the extraordinary experience they just had. Depending upon your camper, they may spill their guts and then take a nap or they may need help sharing, so here are some ideas of questions to help them process their experience.

  • What was something you tried for the first time this week?
  • Name a few new friends you met and what was special about them?
  • What was the funniest/grossest thing you or someone else did?
  • What was something new you learned about God this week or when did you feel closest to God this week?
  • What are questions you still have about God?

It is going to be a great week of camp. We can’t wait to see you.
